A pleasant walk in the mountains
In the summer, what could be nicer than a walk in the mountains to reconnect with nature? In the La Tzoumaz - 4 Vallées area, you’ll find a great choice of marked paths, of varying degrees of difficulty. From panoramic or family-friendly walks to more demanding hikes, there is something for everyone.
Make sure you go along the bisse de Saxon, part of which is just above La Tzoumaz. It’s the longest in Valais!
Afterwards, try an exhilarating descent on a cross-country scooter!
Paradise for mountain bikers
With direct access to the Verbier 4Vallées area, La Tzoumaz is heaven for mountain bikers in the summer. There are 8 downhill tracks, 23 enduro trails, 500 km of cross-country tracks and numerous paths for e-biking.
It’s a giant playground: from dirt tracks to more challenging routes, there is plenty of choice for everyone. Come and explore the region on two wheels!
Activities in the resort
Hiking and mountain biking are not the only summer activities that La Tzoumaz has to offer – there are plenty more and they will make your holiday a memorable one.
Anyone for tennis? Come and practise your smash on one of the two hard courts. Or how about a game of basketball, volleyball or badminton?
Much to nature lovers’ delight, the tourist office in La Tzoumaz offers a selection of outdoor activities, in the forest and in the mountains: you can forage for edible wild plants, visit the Maison de la forêt and learn about the local wildlife, go fishing, visit a local cheese maker and lots more!
For a bit of relaxation, have a dip in the pool – admission is free for T-Resort guests.
